Akihiro Oishi and Hiroki Suzuki are average Japanese workers who are determined to conquer the challenging North Buttress of Alaska's Mount Hunter. They have been climbing partners since Kei Taniguchi died at 43 in 2015. Kei was the first and only female climber in the world to receive the highly regarded Piolets d'Or mountaineering award. She was Akihiro's mentor and Hiroki's climbing partner. This film explores Kei's legacy and how she inspired the two men to climb Mt. Hunter.
