On a foggy March evening in Norway, freeskier Jacob Wester triggers an avalanche and is swept off a cliff. For 75 seconds, he fights for his life inside a roaring mass of snow, while his wife Sofia waits in silence below. 75 Seconds is an account of chaos, fear, and hope inside an avalanche. Arctic Train

Julian Carr has spent his career chasing a few impossible seconds. One of skiing's most prolific big-air athletes, Julian has launched himself from cliffs more than 60 metres high, pushing the limits of what was thought possible on skis. Yet in those brief moments of freefall, he describes something altogether different from fear—a slowing of time, an expansion of consciousness, and an almost impossible sense of calm. There Will be Fear: The Julian Carr Story

Jacob Bélanger’'s story traces his path from growing up skiing in Quebec to building a life around skiing in British Columbia. Shaped by his early years in the streets and a unique approach to terrain, Jacob has developed a style and perspective that are distinctly his own. Photo credit: Braden Dean

Blank Patterns - A Portrait of Jacob Belanger

Formline is the defining visual language of traditional Northwest Coast First Nations art—continuous, curvilinear shapes that swell, diminish, and never meet at a hard edge. Formline traces the unexpected kinship between this ancient art form and the physics of big mountain snowboarding, where reading terrain and carving a line demand the same fluidity, restraint, and trust in the material at hand. Formline

At the heart of the Japanese winter, snow covers the world as we know it and turns it into a playground, where three riders explore a dreamlike landscape. Their journey unfolds to the rhythm of a child’'s voice, questioning adults, what they forget as they grow up, the importance of play and mischief, and the simple pleasure of just being there.

Kids

Some experiences continue to shape us long after they are over. Through intimate conversations with her grandfather, Tonje looks back on a childhood marked by anxiety and OCD and begins to understand how those early experiences have followed her into adulthood.
